"Smart Ass" is, arguably, one of the most basic games you can buy these days - but the best thing is, it's still fun to play.
The difference with this game is that there is no need to fumble around with pages of instructions and rules, or variations of rules - all they have to provide you with is one slip of paper and you're away.
It's basically a trivia game - all the family can play, and there is the all-important element of 'all play'- having more than one person looking for the same answer. And it really is good fun for everyone.
The only drawback i can see is that some of the questions, especially the 'Who am I' questions are much more suited to an American audience - some questions even adults won't be able to get. However, spending an hour or so replacing them with easier ones made up by yourself could solve this issue and produce a better game experience.
Overall, a high-rated game that's great fun and original.

We really enjoyed this game, you don't have to wait your turn to score points/roll the dice you just butt in when you think you know the answer. Easy rules, just listen to the clues that get easier and easier and shout when you have an idea what/where/who it is. 4/5 overall. Minimum age really is about 12 years.

We got this as our new family board game for Christmas. It had to appeal to an 11 year old all the way up to an 85 year old. And it did. As a family we love quizzes and this was an interesting take on the same format. Everyone heres the question in the form of ever more obvious (or are they) statements, with "Smart Ass's" shouting out the answer to early and leaving the more conservative with a chance of winning. We played it about ten times on xmas day and rarely had the same winner.
I'd say ten is the lower age limit - the good thing is that as no one is asked a direct question there isn't the embarrassment factor as with some games. We took turns being the "question Reader" and that ensured all got in on the fun too. We loved it and have played it a lot since. If you have an outgoing family or friendship group that likes quizzes then you can't miss with this one.

They're playing cards. Not a lot to go wrong with them. The individual packs are fine. The only problem I found is that you don't get to specify the colours of the backs. All the ones I received had the same colours. The supplier needs to split the order to two different coloured backs. If you order multiple packs, try putting in two separate orders and see if this helps.

I agree with many others that these cards are of excellent quality and do last for a long time. I can see other reviewers were being ripped-off by the cost of postage. I did not encounter this problem myself as I had enough items in my basket to be eligible for free delivery. I note the other reviews were back in 2007. Therefore if there was a previous issue with P&P, then it is safe to say it has since been resolved.
